"May
I just say how pleased we are once again with your product? Your staff
were very efficient in taking the new order ( & locating the previous
one for the artwork). Plus at the proof stage I asked for a really VIVID
yellow background and you did. It is so refreshing nowadays to find a
company that actually completes an order 100% to your requirements and
ahead of time. Thank you. I would have no hesitation in recommending you
to anyone. Well done. Keith Christophers"

| Banner
welcomes HMS Ark Royal home for final time |
 |
| The
crew of HMS Ark Royal were greeted by a huge banner when they sailed
into Portsmouth Harbour for the last time. Hampshire Flag produced
the 22m x 1m PVC banner in partnership with The Portsmouth News. Crowds
of well-wishers braved the freezing temperatures and gathered round
the banner which featured the wording ‘Farewell to The Mighty Ark’.
The banner, which was produced on a DuPont Chromaprint printer, was
turned around in just three days. |

boosts chances of finding baby’s bone marrow match |
 |
| Hampshire
Flag played a key role in encouraging people in the Portsmouth area
to join the bone marrow register in a bid to find a match for a four-month
old who desperately needs a transplant. It produced the 12ft x 3ft
PVC banner for free in just one day following a request from The Portsmouth
News after it launched the campaign for Jasmine Andrew who was born
with a rare and potentially life-threatening immune system deficiency
which means she is constantly vulnerable to infections and viruses.
The banner, which was printed on a DuPont Chromaprint 22UV and finished
on a Miller Weldmaster, was hung from the Civic Offices in Portsmouth’s
Guildhall Square. |

Devils freefall onto flag for bereaved military families |
 |
| Children
and families who suffered the loss of a serving loved one were treated
to a once in a lifetime experience when the Red Devils Parachute Regiment
Freefall Team jumped and landed on a bespoke flag produced by Hampshire
Flag. The 3x3m digitally dye printed flag was donated to FAB, a Ministry
of Defence charitable initiative which supports bereaved military
families by providing activity holidays. The Red Devils accurately
landed on the flag, which was printed with the FAB logo, when they
jumped into Whitby Abbey during FAB’s final activity break of 2010.

| Feather
flags make a splash for 2011 Junior World Rowing event |
 |
| Hampshire
Flag Company is playing a key part in the promotion of next year’s
FISA World Rowing Junior Championships thanks to the production of
two feather flags. It donated the 2.4m single-sided feather flags,
along with spike and x-bases, to British Rowing - the sport’s governing
body - for a series of events this summer held to encourage volunteers
and spectators to attend the Championships at Eton Dorney in August
2011. The feather flags were taken to the Henley Women’s Regatta,
the National Schools Regatta and the British Rowing Championships
in Strathclyde to raise awareness of the date and to encourage spectators
not to book holidays during 4-7 August next year. |

firm creates a scene for high profile photography event |
 |
|
Hampshire
Flag has created large scale graphics for a photographic studio
which has won the contract to undertake a prestigious photography
competition. The bespoke exhibition stand was produced for Rob Paul
Studios for The Portsmouth News ‘Baby of the Year’ photography competition
which took place along the south coast this summer.
The
Pop-Up Spyder Luxury, selected by Rob Paul Studios, is a high tech
lightweight stand with a cross braced format frame for extra rigidity
and stability on uneven surfaces. The project is bespoke as Rob
Paul Studios required the stand to be double-sided with three additional
panels on the reverse unlike the standard Pop-Up Spyder Luxury which
is single-sided with three front and two side panels.
