Key to the Bannerflex systems’ ability to withstand high winds is our unique and patented ‘cantilever’ arm and casting design, which holds the banner under constant tension.

When the wind blows, the force is immediately transferred from the taut banner to the fibreglass arms, which then flex and help dissipate the energy. This all important windspill factor is crucial in protecting the banner from excessive wear and greatly reduces the forces exerted onto the lamp column.

Standard D3 Airow Post Mounted Banner Arms

BannerFlex Standard D3 Airow: The Standard BannerFlex D3 is designed for use on larger diameter lamp columns and/or where a larger banner is preferred.

The revolutionary BannerFlex D3 AIROW utilises a specially shaped CNC-tapered fiberglass arm to achieve a dramatic increase in wind-spillage. Our extensive research and testing has resulted in the development of a system which dramatically reduces the stresses transferred to the lamp column, a crucial factor that all Engineers regard as a priority when attaching banners to lighting stock.

When the wind blows, the force is immediately transferred from the taught banner to the fibreglass arms, which then flex and help dissipate the energy. This all important wind spill factor is crucial in protecting the banner from excessive wear and greatly reduces the forces exerted onto the lamp column. The system comprises of 2 tempered cast aluminium brackets and 2 UV treated fibreglass arms.

The universal bracket allows the BannerFlex system to be mounted on almost any type of pole, regardless of shape or surface, using stainless steel geared straps, traditional banding or bolts. The arms slide into the brackets and are held in place by stainless steel set screws; a hitch pin offers an added safety feature. The quality materials eliminate corrosion, discolouration and peeling of paint. BannerFlex can accommodate one or two banners per pole.

BannerFlex Metro: The BannerFlex Metro was specifically designed in response to requests for a smaller but adjustable system designed for use on all small to mid-sized diameter lamp columns. The system boasts all of the features of the Standard BannerFlex D3 but in a more compact form.

Aluarm Mounted Banner Arms

AluArm : is specifically designed to be used on lamp columns using a budget Arm Suit post from 76mm to 152mm. This system is ideal decorative light poles where smaller banners and a lower installation height is required. This is a modular Aluminium arm and bracket arrangement with quick release sprint pin action for quick banner change.

If you are working to a tight budget the Aluarm system is ideal.

Post Mounted Banner Arm Banding / Tamtorque

TAMTORQUE HIGH TENSILE STAINLESS STEEL BANDS WITH WORM DRIVE MECHANISM

These are supplied in sets of 4, this is enough to install one Bannerflex system (Standard D3/Metro/Junior) and one banner.

If installing 2 systems per column one set will be sufficient but make sure you allow for the extra bracket when working out column diameter. Call our sales team for help on ordering the correct size.

TAMTORQUE ‘T’ BAR SCREWDRIVER WITH DRILL BIT ATTACHMENT

This tool is used in conjunction with the stainless steel bands above, use a cordless drill to take up any slack and finally tighten with the hand tool.
